Hi, I’m Kat! I’ve been obsessed with cars since I was a little girl riding shotgun with my dad. He taught me how to drive stick before I could even reach the pedals, and made sure I knew the difference between torque and horsepower long before most people cared.
That early love turned into a career and now a mission: to give people a better, smarter, and more empowering way to buy a car.
My Background
I got my start in automotive sales in 2014 at Gebhardt Volkswagen in Boulder, which also gave me hands-on experience with the BMW brand through the same dealer group. I spent three years learning the ins and outs of the business, building relationships, and seeing firsthand how the dealership experience could feel… well, a little broken.
In 2017, I joined Audi Flatirons, then eventually made my way to Fort Collins and joined Ed Carroll Motor Company, where I continued to grow in both sales and internet management roles. I’ve worked closely with clients across all walks of life but one thing kept standing out:
So many people, especially women and first-time buyers, felt overwhelmed, rushed, or even ignored when walking into a dealership.
And so many people just didn’t know where to start.
Why I Started This!
I created KatFindsCars because I knew there had to be a better way.
Buying a car should feel exciting, not exhausting. You shouldn’t have to spend your weekend getting talked into a trim level you don’t want or wondering if you’re being taken seriously. You deserve better.
I work for you! Not a dealership. I listen, I dig deep into your wants and needs, and I use my industry experience to track down the right vehicle at the right price. Then I handle the back-and-forth so you don’t have to.
